September Announcements

At the start of every year I say, “I’m going to do less this year…” And then I don’t.

‘In the Flat Field’ is all wrapped up (more or less) and I’ve already got another busy month (or two) ahead. In this blog post, I’d like to share three of the exciting projects that I’m working on at the moment:

Canberra Art Biennial 2024

I’m very pleased to announce that I’ll be performing my new work Anamnesis Arboretum on Saturday 19 October in the National Arboretum Canberra as part of the 2024 Canberra Art Biennial.

Anamnesis Arboretum is a gentle, site-specific performance art piece conceived for the National Arboretum Canberra and inspired by the numerous memorial plaques attached to park benches there. This performance activates ideas of remembrance, story telling (and retelling), creative practice, and listening as important acts of care.”

Saturday, November 2
11am – 1pm: Tom Isaacs

Sunday, November 3

I’m lastly very pleased to announce that I’ll be speaking with the wonderful Victoria Spence in a public discussion ‘Planning Creatively for your Death‘ as part of the 2024 Sydney Festival of Death and Dying (early bird tickets are available until Oct 1).
