Chisel Piece was a live performance and installation for the exhibition ‘actingUP’ at At The Vanishing Point, Newtown. For this performance I attempted to chip away all the black paint from the surface of the six paintings on wooden canvases, leaving behind new art objects. The performance remains were later exhibited at ESP Gallery as part of my solo exhibition ‘Critical Tension’.
